What do I have to do in a level?
Collect every chip of the shattered core (the counter at the bottom right shows how many are left), then get back to the
core in the starting room. Doors held by a guard open only when that guard is destroyed with the weapon of its colour, so look
for the weapons first. The map (MAP button) shows the rooms you have visited.
How do I play with the touch controls?
Drag anywhere on the left side to steer with the stick. FIRE shoots, the round arrows button switches
weapons, and the buttons in the top right open the map and the pause menu. In menus, use the up and down buttons and
OK. You can swap the sides in Options → Controls → Buttons.
Can I use a game controller or a keyboard?
Yes. Controllers such as the PlayStation DualSense or Xbox controller work out of the box; buttons can be remapped in
Options → Controls → Kempston joystick (shown while a controller is connected). With a keyboard:
| WASD or arrows | move |
| Space | fire / confirm |
| Q E, 1–4 | switch weapon |
| M | map |
| P or Esc | pause |
Is there a Mac version? Do I have to buy it twice?
Yes, there is, and no, you don't: Restorium is a Universal Purchase. Buy it once on the App Store and download it on your
iPhone, iPad and Mac with the same Apple ID at no extra cost. On the Mac it runs natively; play with the keyboard (see above) or a connected game controller;
EXIT GAME in the main menu or ⌘Q quits. Your settings and saves on the Mac are kept apart
from those on your iPhone or iPad.
How does saving work?
The game saves by itself when you pause, leave a level or switch to another app, and every few rooms. Choose
CONTINUE in the main menu to carry on exactly where you were. Finished levels unlock the next ones.
Saves are kept on your device only, so deleting the app also deletes your progress.
What do the guards' colours mean?
Every weapon has a colour, and a guard can only be destroyed with the weapon of its own colour: grenades break the red,
yellow and green ones, the freeze cannon the blue ones (freeze them first, then shoot), plasma the violet ones. A weapon is
always found before the doors that need it.
A room locked me in. What now?
That is a trap. Defeat the enemies in the room, then drive over the coloured floor buttons — each opens the door of its
colour. When a gatekeeper raises the alarm, the room opens again once nobody inside is left standing.
The game is too dark / too shaky / too loud.
Open Options: Display has the graphics style (HD or RETRO), lights and screen shake; Sound sets the
effects and music volume separately; Controls has aim assist and vibration. On iPhone the game follows the silent
switch.
Does Restorium need the internet or collect any data?
No. It plays fully offline, has no ads, no accounts and no analytics. See the
Privacy Policy.
How do I get a refund?
